SECUDE – Focusing on SAP data security amidst Info Sec clutter

SECUDE was a proud participant at the Information Security Summit. While the event witnessed a plethora of software product vendors and service providers ranging from biometric scanners to endpoint security devices and cyber forensics, SECUDE’s booth was the venue of much discussion around SAP data security. In fact, HALOCORE, SECUDE’s data security solution for SAP, drew the attention of SAP users and non-SAP participants from across industries and sectors, public and private.

Some of the key visitors to SECUDE’s booth included senior management and CXO level participants from Mazgaon Docks, World Bank Group, ABB Global Industries & Services, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Indian Oil Corporation, and HDFC Life (Insurance).

SECUDE’s Pitch

Business processes, today, rely heavily on SAP applications that handle product life cycle, finance, customer relationship, human resource and many other processes. These applications store and transact vast amounts of business-critical information. SAP clients have long realized that their business revolves around information. However, most SAP users are unaware of a hidden danger – data leaks due to uncontrolled user downloads and data flows in the background. Thus, with digital transformation, solutions that monitor and block such leaks from SAP applications become a must.

The key value proposition the SECUDE pitched was on how SAP data security practitioners could control SAP data downloads and API data flows.

SECUDE also had its partner, Sonata Software at the event.
