Superior User Experience, Greater Automation Capabilities and Enhanced Value for Partners with HALOCORE® 5.0
The new version of HALOCORE® displays a significant change in product architecture featuring scalability and industry-agnostic future-proof applicability.
Lucerne, 7 May 2018: SECUDE, SAP® partner and leading data security provider specializing in security for SAP software, today announced the release of the latest version of its data security solution, HALOCORE® 5.0.
HALOCORE is a unique technology that protects intellectual property and other sensitive information extracted from SAP systems. By integrating directly with SAP, it protects data with automated classification, blocks unauthorized downloads, and automatically applies fine-grained access policies to required data exports. This innovative approach allows enterprises to maintain a high level of control and security over sensitive documents extracted from SAP throughout their lifetime, even if these have been shared via email, downloaded to a recipient’s PC, or printed as PDF.
“This new version contains a significant change in SECUDE’s product architecture. From a user’s perspective, this release of HALOCORE will take the scope and usability of the solution ahead by several notches. For our global partners, it incorporates features that are critical to enhance their service portfolios. This release marks the first step towards a fully automated solution, which we want to build based on machine learning concepts in the upcoming months.” states Holger Huegel, VP – Products & Services, SECUDE.
Focus on automation and user experience
One of the primary goals of SECUDE is to make HALOCORE automation friendly. Towards this, HALOCORE 5.0 is powered with a new powerful rule engine and configuration templates (available for SAP HR and SAP FI/CO) to manage easily classification and reaction requirements even in complex use cases. This engine also forms the basis of upcoming automation initiatives that feature machine learning concepts such as deep learning.
The new HALOCORE 5.0 has a new guided web user interface to simplify the rule configuration process for customers and for SECUDE’s global consulting partners.
Added value for global partners
For partners who provide managed services the new HALOCORE version has been enabled with a multi-tenancy feature. This new development enables SECUDE’s partners to leverage HALOCORE also as an enablement solution to further vitalize existing services.
Central control for specific scenarios
Large organizations have multiple complex user scenarios that may warrant enabling or disabling specific users or user groups. To support unique requirements, the solution’s central switch can activate HALOCORE only for specific users, such as external administrators, or exclude dedicated users, such as members of a working council, from the monitoring and control process.
It also provides central control to administrators to deactivate the software on individual SAP systems in case of a ‘Firefighter’ scenario.
